In the Caribbean multiple Sea Turtle species come to shore to create nests during breeding seasons. Seaweed is preventing these turtles from reaching these locations resulting in the risk of diminished populations. Our methods of removal not only restore usage of the beach to the turtles but also does it in a way that does not disturb the existing beachfront or it's inhabitant. The Leather back Turtles, which predominately nest in the Caribbean and gulf coast, already hold a position on the endangered species list.

With our proprietary methods of collecting, we can effectively remove 300 net ton of material per day with just one machine. We can clean between 40-100 miles of coastline per day depending on the density of material per mile.
Virtually no material is transported by truck over land which is leading us toward a negative carbon footprint. Currently the equipment being used causes more problems than it solves.
Heavy equipment destroys the natural habitat as they attempt to remove the seaweed.

We are the most excited by what we can do with Sargassum once it's collected. Seaweed can be used to replace our current dependency on petroleum-based plastics as well as act as an alternative source of biomass for energy generation in remote regions. It can also be process into organic fertilizer which reduces the pollution associated with traditional mining. We believe the solutions which are the most local will provide the most benefit to the community and remain viable in the long term.
