The Future is Green... and Blue.

We are Preparing for the Real Challenge.

We realize that seaweed on the beach is only a symptom of a larger systemic issue. The problem is starting out in the open ocean where a naturally occurring ecosystem is being supercharged with food and sunlight.  Since 2010 the volume of Sargassum making its way to our beaches has shown significant year over year increases. The trajectory of this growth indicates it will continue to increase in perpetuity. This new reality is the direct result of fertilizer run off from the Amazon Basin and the Congo entering the Atlantic ocean and being utilized by the floating seaweed. Human activity has drastically increased the ability for Sargassum to multiply as it travels with the ocean currents through these areas before making its way back north towards The United States. DNA analysis shows the runoff from these regions' newly forming agriculture sectors are directly correlated to the increases in blooms we are experiencing.

With this in mind, we recognize that our efforts must shift from the beaches to the ocean where we can intercept this excess supply of seaweed before it makes its way to shore. Collecting off shore yields higher efficiency by volume and minimizes impact to the community and wildlife on shore. Our goal is to achieve homeostasis between correcting for human's impact on the environment and ensuring that ocean life continues to have access to sargassum as a natural habitat.

The Sargasso Sea is Enormous

Being roughly 1/3rd the size of the continental United States, the Sargasso Sea is home to over 100M ton of floating Sargassum which is circulated throughout the Atlantic annually.

Our Future is Bright and Green

The combination of existing technology and TriNiCanna patented technology positions us to be the forerunner of Sargassum mitigation and a pioneer of commercially viable bio-products moving forward.
